Cavy Bistro

I love this! I have always had messy piggies and this contains the mess to one side that I can pull out and clean between deep cleanings. Product was perfect and I love adding a pop of color to their cage.

These trays are a must for any cnc cage set up in which fleece is being used. Fill these with a mixture of paper bedding and kiln dried pine shavings (Eco Flakes are good), place the hay rack in this area. Piggies spend a lot time eating hay thus a good bit of the pee will go here and not on the fleece, helping with laundry.

I've had guinea pigs for more than 10 years before getting this. I wish I'd done it sooner. The hybrid fleece and bedding solution is a game changer.
The pigs love their kitchen so much that they spend maybe 80% of time there. The cage is less smelly overallbecause they don't pee on the fleece anymore. They barely even poop on it.
It's so much less work because the hay doesn't get on the fleece either. I just clean off the poops here and there and we can keep a fleece in there for two weeks with two pigs. I'm not even sure it even needs to be changed after two weeks, it just feels like the right thing to do. The bedding is so much less of a hassle to deal with than the fleece - no vacuuming, no washing machine, etc.
Also, it means I can still use our 4x2 fleeces in the new 5x2 cage. This kitchen more than makes up the difference.

The main downside is that it's too big to dump into a kitchen garbage bag easily. Fortunately we can compost it, but my alternative solution would have been to hang on to a contractor size bag and just keep filling it until it's full.

We love, love, love these cages! We have been buying them for years for all of our piggies! We love the different combinations and how much space they have to offer. Our piggies love them too!

As I said in my review of the main cage we purchased, these products are awesome and beautiful and so so easy to clean. We will definitely be return customers for all our piggie needs. The Bistro is great for keeping messes mostly localized, especially the hay. It also adds to the look and makes the whole setup look a bit more put together.

This size fits my 3 floofs so much better than the smaller one. It also eliminates the poop and pee over the side problem.
